Spicy Pasta and Shrimp
8 oz uncooked,fettucine(or angle hair)
1/2 pound unpeeled,medium-sized shrimp
2 T butter(or margarine)
1/4 c green onions chopped
1-2 cloves of garlic,minced
1 T Cajun seasoning or Creole(in spice area of store)
1/2 C half and half (says whipping cream)
1/4 C white wine
1/3 C grated parmesean cheese
1-2 tsp dried crushed red pepper(go easy depending on if you like spice or not)
1/3 C chopped parsely

-Peel shrimp and devein,set aside
-Cook linguine according to the package directions,
keep warm Melt butter in a large skillet,
add onions and garlic. Saute til tender.
Stir in Cajun seasoning,
stirring constantly 1 minute.
- add shrimp and half and half,
reduce heat, simmer 3 minutes
-add wine, stirring,simmer 3 minutes
-add drained linguine,parmesean cheese
and red pepper flakes,
heat thoroughly.
Stir in parsely;serve immediately.
Yields 2-3 servings.
