Scalloped Potatoes with Cheddar Sauce
Ingredients :
1 tbsp. margarine
1 small onion, sliced
1 can Campbell's Condensed Broccoli Cheese Soup
1/3 cup 2% milk
1/8 tsp. pepper
4 medium potatoes, cooked and sliced
3 slices lean bacon, crisp-cooked and crumbled
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions :
1) In large non-stick skillet over medium heat, melt margarine. Add onion and
sauté until tender.
2) Stir in soup, milk and pepper. Bring to boil. Stir in potatoes. Bring to
boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover; simmer 5 minutes or until hot, stirring
occasionally. Sprinkle with bacon. Garnish with parsley, if desired.
Microwave : 1) In 6-cup microwave-safe casserole, combine margarine and onion.
cover with lid; microwave on HIGH 2 minutes or until onion is tender. Stir in
soup, milk and pepper. Add potatoes; stir. Cover; microwave on HIGH 7 minutes or
until hot and bubbling, stirring halfway through cooking. Garnish as directed
