Parmesan Bisquick Biscuits
Yield: 12 servings
2 1/2 c Bisquick
3 T Parmesan cheese
1 t Dried chives
1 t Oregano
1/4 c Cold butter or margarine
2/3 c Milk
2 T Butter or margarine, melted
2 T Parmesan cheese
Combine Bisquick, 3 Tbsp Parmesan cheese, chives and oregano. Cut 1/4 cup cold
butter into 1/4quot; pieces. Add butter pieces to Bisquick mixture and toss with
fork until coated. Add milk, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
Turn dough out onto surface dusted with Bisquick. Shape into a ball; knead 4-5
times.
Roll dough 1/2 inch thick and cut with 2 inch biscuit cutter dipped in Bisquick.
Brush tops of biscuits with 2 Tbsp melted butter and sprinkle with 2 Tbsp
Parmesan cheese.
Place biscuits on lighted greased baking sheet.
Bake 8 minutes at 450F or until light brown.
