Cracker Jacks
3 qt. popped corn
1 C. brown sugar
1/2 C. butter
1/4 C. corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar

Preheat oven to 200ºF. Cook all except popped corn over medium heat to 260ºF or hard ball stage. Boil slowly. Pour over popped corn. Bake for 1 hour, stirring 3 times during baking. Let cool.
