The Air Show

It was held in Ashtabula, I think.

It had some good things there but the heat was bad and there were crowds.

Tom took Tommy for a ride in one of the little planes. I don't know how much you paid to ride on them but apparently there wasn't room for more than two passengers and we didn't have money enough for two rides so Tom and Tommy went which was really fine by me. I wasn't excited about flying in a little plane.

What I did love was going on board one of the World War Two bomber planes that the Confederate Air Force had turned into a museum that they flew around to various air shows. It was really interesting and although I don't know the guys name now, I told him about a scrapbook I had of nose art. All the photos were taken by an Air Force guy who was there at the time. He came out to the house when the air show closed and I gave him the book for the museum.

A make believe Red Baron.
