There was a show that came to one of the park areas down towards township park I think. I'm not really sure of how close it was to the park but it wasn't down inside the park. I think it would have been in the upper area where the car park place was at that time.

It was one of those traveling things and it scared me but Tom wanted to take Tommy and I wasn't letting him go on his own. I had too much fear left over from my time getting hurt on a fair ground ride. Tom had no fears at all of anything that I know.

I think we may have driven down there. Tommy rode on some kiddie rides. His father rode on a lot of things. I may have gone on the tilt-a-whirl but I still would have been scared. As usual there was not that much money but I didn't want to ride on the rides anyway.

The way I saw it I was only there in case Tommy got hurt which I prayed wouldn't happen. I know there was not much I could have done to protect him and he had to do stuff like this so he didn't grow up scared.

I think I got a drink and ate a piece of fried perch that was remarkably tasty. Maybe we bought funnel cakes. We bought both of these things at Pymatuning too. We ate fried bread in both places. That's a misshapen wheel of dough that it deep fried and sprinkled with cinnamon and powdered sugar.

When they started to close up we looked for Tom and found he didn't want to go home with us. He was going to stay, he said, and help them take down the rides to earn twenty-five bucks. I kind of figured the money would be gone before he got home but Tommy and I went home anyway and left him there.

This one scared me a little just to see him on it.

The train was serious business.

Tommy mostly enjoyed it but there were times it was like he might have been bored.

There is no way I would have gotten on that one.
