Bite of the apple, er tomato!

It wasn't getting any bigger. The vine near it appeared to be dying.

I plucked it, saved it in the fridge for a day before getting bold enough to take the knife to it.

I got 5 slices including the top.

I bit in to discover no acidic green tomato flavor.

Instead it was almost sweet and tasted like a green bell pepper.

I gave it the supreme test.

I got Al to taste it.

He said if he couldn't see it he wouldn't have believed he was eating a tomato.

I hope I get more
