Exercise bike 3
I considered another one. I wasn't going to buy one without trying it out first. I drove to Acadamy Sports and Outdoors and got this one.
They both cost about $230.00 and tax.
In the store the one I sat in and tried the pedals seemed to be farther back than this one. Al tried that setting for me. It was hard to reach the pedals and pedal easily. I think mine is a wee bit higher, but it could be my imagination.
It doesnt have the tray to put your laptop on, though I think I wouldn't have typed on it anyway. It would have been too awkward.
He seemed to have put it together easier because each section came with all the parts loosely attached.
The heaviest part is the thing where the pedals attach.
It plugs in and you can set it for pre set workouts.
I didn't do that. I skipped the set up and use it manually.
This means I can hit two 'buttons' and start pedaling.
I didn't realize it at first, but where the monitor window is, there is a slot that my reader fits in so that I can read a book or play a card game while exercising.
Later, I saw a similar one in Walmart.
I would have tried that one out, but its up high above and no one can try it for size. It cost about $25.00 more.
