I "think" I took these here. This is I believe called Bladder Campion for the seed pods that are puffy and when you touch them they burst open scattering their seed on the wind. The red tipped stuff you see is of the Amaranth family. Its seeds are gathered and threshed and gronded into a flour like substance that is supposed to be very healthful.

This one is blurrier than the other but that purple bit looks like what we called "Teddy Bears" as kids. There are so many wild flowers that grow in this area.
