Trains

I used to have a whole role of these train photos.

Old Tom took one of the upstairs bedrooms and turned it into a train room. I think he still would have done even if he'd known we were only going to be there for about two years. I don't know if Tommy liked trains because we did or if he just wanted to be around his father. I liked trains too, but with me it was all about journeys on them and not about building layouts.

He couldn't help but learn about tools.

The table was sturdy and it was close to the wall on that side but still looking at it now is scary with him standing up there. He wasn't ever clumsy. Its just a Mom worry.

He's probably trying to figure out what those funny things have to do with building a train layout. Either that or wondering if its food.

I have more train stuff but its from Mill Street. Maybe. I do think that some of them were from a visit to the train museum here.

His first train.

I found more.

I thought those curtains were ugly but the curtains in the whole house came with it and stayed with it.
