I have thought of other things that happened here that I didn't write down.
Once when lived here Millie and Mom and Cindy decided to go over to the Union Cemetery and swipe a live geranium off of a grave. I know its crazy but Mom loved plants. Maybe she was going to take a branch for a cutting and not the whole plane. One can only hope.
Before they left the apartment Cindy said "No remember if you hear a noise, run like Hell because it will be the dead rising up." I thought she was joking but you never know.
They got to the cemetery and found the plants only to discover they were fake plastic ones. Disgusted they started for home.
Part way out of the cemetery they heard a noise behind them and both Cindy and Mom started running. About then they heard this little voice behind them calling "Wait for me"
It was Millie. She'd stopped to get a stone out of her shoe.
If there is more to this story maybe Millie knows. I wasn't there and only heard it over and over from Mom.
