Me in the Green Dress from Hell
Some of my sister always told me I was ugly and fat and I grew up thinking it was true. At this age I didn't pluck my eyebrows and of course was not allowed to use make up at all even if I wanted to. It never occurred to me to do any of those things.
This is me and Enid. I'm actually holding Millie's yearbook. I wanted to hold it so it would show the year but as you can see, if it ever did it doesn't now. I think it was 1961 but I'm not sure. Both Anna and Millie were still in school the following year at least.
