These are some of the color photos from this time and some other ones I found.

Dad of course. That kitchen "hutch" he's leaning on we had for years. They moved it to Argyle with them. The shelf thing he's leaning on is metal but covered with what they called agate but was really a china like surface. It pulled out to table size. Mom rolled out biscuits on it. The two drawers below were "junk" drawers where they kept things like the biscuit cutter, can openers, matches, cooking utensils, whatever didn't have a place somewhere else in the kitchen.

Dad with his kitten Fred. Fred loved to sit on his shoulder.

I used to heckle Dad about the big bucks he had stuffed in the corner of that cupboard.

Food items were stored in the top shelves, stuff like flour and canned goods and crackers. The bottom of the cupboard held pots and pans.

A teenage Nancy sitting in the fields. Those short dark bushes are the junipers. One time she said she thought it was Tolkien country.

This was an instant photo of Mom, Sue and Me taken by Enid. I think it was her camera. I now believe "instant" meant the photo only lived for a short while. They were never clear. The sometimes didn't develop right. And they aged face quickly becoming scratched and faded.
