That was a baby swing Toni had. Tommy loved falling asleep in it.

I think this one was at the airport before we left but I could be wrong.

He was still being breast fed but he liked apple juice too. They made us try him with formula at the hospital. They wanted to be sure we knew how to feed him if we needed too. They also recommended taking some with me on the trip. She told me if the air pressure hurt his ears that swallowing milk would help.

I had the grocery push cart with me and Tommy's fold up stroller as well as the diaper bag and my bag. I think I mentioned somewhere that Tom took a different flight because I was going to Newark and he was going to San Francisco and then to Ohio.

They wouldn't let me take the fold up cart. It would have been so helpful when we got to LAX and the hour or two we had to wait for the next flight. As it was, I strapped him in the stroller and draped the diaper bag and my purse/bag over the back. I could have got a snack but I thought he needed something first.

I took him to the ladies lounge, changed his diaper and laid down on the bed they had their for just that purpose. I fed him the usual way and got up to leave. A stewardess said I could rest there if I wanted to until my next flight but I was too afraid I'd fall asleep and miss it.

I think I flew World Wide. It was relatively unknown and there were a lot of empty seats. I was shown to one that was three seats. She told me I could put a seat belt around his car seat thing. It wasn't really a car seat. It was a thing to  support him when he was in the stroller.

I wanted him in my arms but she said in an emergency the seat belt would cut him in half. During the flights if there was no turbulence and their wasn't much,  I could walk around with him or hold him while I fed him.

There was a red haired young woman that wanted to hold him. I don't think there were more than eight passengers on the flight unless they were in other sections. We were in coach. I let her hold him awhile. She told her mom that she wanted one just like him someday. "Better wait awhile," her mom said.

It was strange flying into Newark and not Kennedy. We were all hustled on to a bus and taken to somewhere else. I forget where but it was in NYC. From there Tommy and I went up to Glens Falls by Trailways bus.

It was exciting getting off the bus and having them grabbing my kid first to hug him.
