When I was about five or six months pregnant Tom and some of his friends took me with them to Mokuleia Beach. I have photos from there that I took. I looked it up on the internet to be sure I was spelling it right and discovered that it was the beach where the TV show "Lost" was filmed. Of course that was not even created when I was there. I never watched the show when it was on TV so I wouldn't have recognized it anyway.
I'm not sure if the above one was taken there or not. I don't recall that view you see across the water. It looks like somewhere else but the next ones I'm sure of being there.
That's Tom and Ken. Ken is the one in the yellow trunks. I wasn't too fond of him back then. He was a heckler and I tended to think he meant the things he said. It bothered me.
These rocks were weird and if you notice the sand around them is darker and not just because its wet. That's black sand. It can be found on some of the islands but I never expected to find it here. I took film containers and filled them up with samples of the sand for souvenirs. I put tiny little shells in too.
Tom and Ken and I have totally forgotten the third guys name. I wonder if I ever knew it.
Tom and Ken. They kept trying to get me into the water. I wouldn't have gone even if I hadn't of been pregnant. I sat on the beach trying to relax and taking photos.

They were scavenging. When the tide came in it would bring with it lost lures and hooks. They'd get caught in the rocks. You had to watch where you stepped. I stepped around on the edge here but I didn't get a hook in me. Instead my foot slipped and I cut a small cut. I think I have a scar from it.
It wasn't a very wide beach.
