Now I remember Estrella's last name. It was Da Lap or Du Lap. It was two words. I'm probably being bad here but the other gal we nicknamed "nympho". I'm not sure she slept with all the guys but she had major crushes on just about every guy she met here.

Snack before bed time. There was a desk like this between every set of bunks and one chair only so you sat where every you found a space. The gal in the back is polishing her boots. Just because we were at AIT didn't mean we could be sloppy. We all had to "spit" shine them. Some of them really spit on them to polish them. I thought that was icky but my boots were always shiny.
