Preparation For Hurricane Harvey
The news is scary and yet you look at the maps and you recall other storms and you feel better.
I'll add more as I think of it.
What I saw this morning on the emergency mail site. To me this looks like it will make landfall farther south than I thought.
I had to first fill up water jugs and the bathtubs. I've only got one tub done so far, as I'm running around doing errands, doing laundry feeding someone. LOL!
The man who doesn't want to eat much of anything surprised me this morning.
When I put his cream of wheat on the table, I put a mini banana next to it. When I looked, he'd eaten it.
At the store, Gerlands aka Food Fair, I think, I bought his cream of wheat, not the flavor he wanted. Yes, it was a nightmare with the usual empty shelves. he wanted Hershey's Chocolate bars. I grabbed a handful of them. I really didn't buy all that much. As an afterthought, I tossed in two packs of chocolate chunk fresh baked cookies. One sugar free, one not. I doubt I will eat any as I don't really eat them anymore. I left them on the table.
He opened the box and ate two. Great news!
