This is the generator and the door behind the wooden opening leads into the living room. Al made this to keep the rain and fumes out and give us a way to use it safely without invading the house. We stored the cord ahead of time between the outside door and the inside. He said he didn't want to get wet out there pushing the cord through. He did have to go out to start it up though.
This is a small wagon for hauling stuff in the yard like sacks of soil. These tanks were filled with gas at the start and had to be refilled before it was over.
This is our porch/patio area. We moved loose stuff in here like the hose carryall and all my pots and decorative stuff from the garden. The wooden cage was built to carry the cats if we evacuated. We wanted to give them more room than they had last time.
