This top one is of the trees in the front yard. They have grown a lot since I came here. Al just had the lawn guys trim them because they were so overgrown that they got in their faces when they mowed. I am short and when I go out sometimes to put something in the mail box they smack me in the head too. They won't anymore.

This top one is a side view of the smallest of the crepe myrtles in the back yard. This one blooms a much darker pink that the taller ones behind it. You can see the tops of them. These are the ones the mockingbirds love to next in the branches.

The bare spots on the lawn are not really bare. Al had them dismantle the raised bed I used to use for flowers and spread the soil around the yard in places they thought needed building up. The rainy season sometimes washes away some.

This is how those trees looked when I first came here in Mid December after my son's birthday. See how small they were. This was about ten years ago. On the left side is the Hibiscus. It grew to reach over the roof on the far side and we were constantly trimming them back.

Notice the fence in the back? In a bit you will see how much those trees you can see have grown and what they look like now. Tina owns that but rents it out now.
