These is whats left of my Christmas Cactus from a few years ago, maybe two.

What happened is it got some kind of stem rot. I had two pots. One was the pink or red, I think red and the other was one Nancy had sent to me that was white and pink in the same bloom. There were all dying. You could pick up the branches and they were all brown on the stem end and came off when you touched them. I threw most of them out but I had an idea. I took some of branches and cut off the brown stuff about two inches above it. Then I stuck these in a new pot, sprinkled them once and ignored them. I think what caused the rot was too much rain.

My neighbor bought me a new one and I had that for awhile till the heat and dry killed it. One day I looked over and these were still growing. They bloomed this year. I didn't save the pink ones.

There is a fake china bird in this pot.

The other plant is a kind of aloe but with spiky things on it.

the brownish stems were another small plant that I stuck in there, a suculent that bloomed once and then died.

These next are two strange cacti I got when I got the Old Lady Cactus. Thats the barrel shaped one that is starting new growth on the side if all this rain doesn't kill it too.

Neither of the ones above have bloomed. They have both doubled in size if not tripled. The one closest to the bottom of the picture is very picky. The dry and the heat burned it somewhat but it seems to be coming back.

This was one of those tiny pot suculents. It has bloomed once this summer and is getting new buds. They are not pretty, small and white like a miniature aster. Very plain but it seems not to mind the dry and so far not the wet.
