Texas City Dike

Today we took a drive to see how the new dike area turned out. You may recall it was pretty much devastated during Hurricane Ike. It was closed down and has only recently reopened.
The area designated for picnics is a lot smaller but I think it will increase as it becomes a popular spot.
This is listed as a "Lighted Fishing Area" and now it has all these solar powered lights.
The port-a-potties were indeed clean with toilet paper inside them.
