Snickers Bar
1/4 c Light Corn Syrup
2 T Butter
1 T Vanilla
1/8 c Peanut Butter
1 dash Salt
3 c Powdered Sugar
35 Unwrapped Caramels
1 c Dry Roasted Peanuts, unsalted
12 oz Chocolate Chips

With the mixer on high speed, beat corn syrup, butter, vanilla, peanut butter, and salt until creamy.
Slowly add the powdered sugar.
When the the mixture has become the consistency of dough, remove it from bowl and press into a lightly greased 9 inch square pan.
Refrigerate until firm.
Melt the caramels in a small pan over low heat.
When the caramel is soft mix in peanuts.
Pour over nougat and return to refrigerator until firm.
Melt the chocolate in the microwave. Cut candy in pan into to 2 inch x 1 inch sections.
Coat each piece with chocolate.
Place on wax paper and let cool at room temperature until set.
