Shaker Plum Cake
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. milk
3 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
6 med. fresh California plums
CRUMB MIXTURE
1/2 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Mix sugar, butter and egg until fluffy. Stir in milk. Stir in flour, baking
powder and salt. Spread dough in pan. Top with plums and crumb mixture. Bake at
375 degrees for 35 minutes.
