No-fry Chicken Parmesan
4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (about 1.25 pounds)
1 egg, well beaten with 1 teaspoon water
¾ cup Italian seasoned dry bread crumbs
1 26-ounce jar favorite pasta sauce
4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions: Heat oven to 400 degrees. Place chicken on clean cutting board. With meat pounder or edge of saucer, flatten chicken slightly. Dip chicken in egg, then in bread crumbs. Arrange chicken in 9-by-13-inch baking dish. Bake, uncovered, about 20-25 minutes.
Pour pasta sauce over chicken and top with cheese. Bake additional 15 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clean. Serve with hot cooked pasta.
