Halloween and the Taylors
Effie and her kids really liked to have fun. Any holiday was something special to them. I wasn't here the year they did this and I think these were some photos that Sue took'

I don't know who they all are except that is Wendy on the right side of this last photo.
Sue told me that one Christmas when Effie and the kids didn't have much to eat that Priscilla came over to Taylors. Somewhere I have a photo of Priscilla. Priscilla was at one time married to Herman's brother. In case you are lost, Herman Cook was married to Pat Welles who was our half cousin.
What we didn't know, or at least what I didn't know was that Priscilla and Dick Taylor were having an affair.
On that Christmas, Dick gave Priscilla a big check for her to spend on Christmas for her and her kids. His own kids had nothing and he didn't care.
This whole thing is ridiculous to me because Priscilla was butt ugly. Effie wasn't a beauty but even with Halloween makeup on she outshined Priscilla.
Effie divorced him as quick as she could and took her kids to Fort Edward to live. I personally think she was a lot better off in Fort Edward than she ever was with this moron she'd spent so many years of her life with and given him a lot of children.
There are a great deal of men in this world that I will never understand.
