I just remembered something from long ago here. One day and I was down at Sue's trailer. I wanted to make cookies. I really used to like to bake cookies. I made a kind of a sugar cookie. I'm pretty sure I used a recipe. I made them into balls and pushed down the centers with my thumb or maybe it was just my pointer finger. I put a dollop of raspberry jam in the center of each and baked them. They came out great and everyone loved them. Years later I found a recipe in the Farm Journal Cookbook for Thumbprint cookies and it was basically the same thing. Maybe, I read it before and just forgotten.
Another time I made round sugar cookies and "Painted" them with blue confectioners sugar frosting. They looked funny. I couldn't get the blue the color I wanted it.
I told the girls they were crumpets. I didn't even know what crumpets were then. I'd just read the name in a book.
We ate blue frosted cookies for days because I made a lot of them. I think I used the biscuit cutter to cut them with so they were a good sized cookie.
Mom took that of Sue in the drive way one day. Naturally, she was just supposed to get the cat.
These are a young Tommy playing in the cherry tree.
Same tree but a couple of years older. He was almost seven in this one.
Sue and baby Tommy. I don't think this is already up here but I've looked at so many photos and most of them more than 4 times so it's easy to get confused.

*I'm going to take a break for a bit and maybe go back and work on the Hawaii ones where the kid was born. I've still got some for here but I need to organize them a bit.
